The world is changing rapidly and the traditional role of the nation-state may be evolving as a consequence.  Information and technology have become more readily accessible to people everywhere; time has become compressed as people and ideas travel across the world in record time; and there is unprecendented interdependence between nations in terms of both culture and trade.  Globalization is changing our world, bringing people together in new ways, and challenging traditional boundaries.  But what does all this mean?  This webpage is dedicated to the exploration of globalization and its consequences.
